Range Road 174 at Night.

Rosalind is a small community located in central Alberta and it is home to the mysterious Deerman. Every Province or State depending on where you are in the world. Have many rural roads that will take you from point A to point B. But sometimes, these roads take you down a dark path of utter insanity. Many videos and articles and even podcasts discuss the oddities that are found once traveling down these roads in that lead you into the depths of the less likely traveled path.

Stories of inbreed hillbillies come to the minds of many or those who believe they’ve seen Bigfoot while traveling down logging roads. The same can be said of El Chupacabra while wandering the dead roads of the Southern United States. These once traveled roads are slowly being swallowed back up by Mother Nature and the once fearful wildlife who avoided these trails not wanting to be near us humans.

But this is what my investigation is all about. It’s about taking all the information that I can get my hands on and share it with you, the trusty reader and come up with your own conclusions.

This article dives into the sighting that happened on “October 28th, 1987”. The air was crisp as winter was right around the corner. The Halloween decorations were up and some of the kids in the area thought it would be great if they went wandering through the empty fields. They walked around the many of the areas and crossed many of the uninhabited roads due to the time of day they were crossing them at. Even today these roads that dart across the landscape are pretty tame at night. Sure you’ll see the odd semi or farmer drive about the area or maybe even the odd cop. But at this time of year and at night everything was dead quiet.

It was said that they decided to carry on while they were bored and looking to pass the time. That’s when one revealed that they stole some cigarettes from their parents. As they stood in the harvested field, they all were quiet and lite their smokes.

That’s when the silence was broken by the sound of someone running in the distance. Thinking it was the farmer whose field they were trespassing in they quickly put out their lights and stood silently hoping not to be discovered. Though, afterward, they would’ve wanted it to be the farmer. It sounded as if it saw them in the pitch blackness and changed direction, heading towards them in ran right past them and quickly cut across Range Road 174. Just as it did, a farmer driving an old late seventies Ford pickup truck had to swerve to miss colliding with the Deerman.

For a split second, they saw the outline of the Deerman running through the darkness heading towards God only knows what location. Those who’ve witnessed the events in this article that might still remember it to this day. Though, those teens have long since left town the second they graduated.

Though I’ve traveled down that road myself to walk down it at night and during the day. I will admit that there have been times that I’ve felt someone or something watching my every move. Is it the Deerman of Central Alberta or is it just overactive imaginations running amok, you be the judge. But I will say this though. That one reporting is misleading, while two are coincidental, and more than that it becomes a reacquiring
phenomenon.
